Using Revive

Revive Turbo Cleaner works on all engine types including Diesel & Petrol Passenger Vehicles and also Diesel Engine Heavy Goods Vehicles. Revive is perfect to prevent build ups of carbon material which can cause efficiency and performance issues in the future.

The Revive cleaning process should be performed before a regularly scheduled engine oil service which allows the vehicle to be checked over and filled with clean oil after the Revive treatment is complete.

ALWAYS starting with a cold engine, unclip the intake trunking after the air filter and MAF sensor.  This should be able to completed in just a few minutes.


Preventative Service Shot Treatment

Performing a full Revive clean to repair and fix problems is straight forward, quick and easy to carry out and this preventative Service Shot treatment is even quicker to perform.

Spray Revive in 3 doses of 250ml into the intake, 1st with the engine running at 2200 RPM, next at 1800 RPM, stop the engine for 3 minutes, re-start the engine then finally at 2000 RMP. 

Keep the engine running for a few more minutes until Revive has worked out of the system. 

Take the vehicle for a brisk drive of about 20 minutes, this allows Revive to do its work. 


For automotive engines UNDER 5.0 liters of displacement:

Spray Revive in 3 doses of 250ml each into the intake,

  • Stage 1: Inject 250ml of Revive with the engine running at 2200 RPM
  • Stage 2: Inject 250ml of Revive with the engine running at 1800 RPM
  •      Stop the engine and wait for 15 minutes
  • Stage 3: Re-start the engine and inject 250ml of Revive with the engine running at 2000 RPM.

Keep the engine running for a few more minutes until the Revive is worked out of the system.

Take the vehicle for a brisk drive of about 20 minutes, this allows Revive to do its work.


 

For automotive engines OVER 5.0 liters of displacement: 

For automotive turbo diesel engines that are over 5.0 ltrs of displacement, the process is the same as for engines under 5.0 liters of displacement, however you must CALCULATE your Revive introduction RPM settings based on your vehicle's specific manufacturers suggested maximum RPM (or redline).

The calculation and process is as follows:

  • Stage 1: Inject 250ml of Revive at 0.45 x manufacturers based engine maximum RPM / Redline (eg: GMC Duramax 3000 RPM x 0.45 = 1350 RPM)
  • Stage 2: inject 250ml of Revive at 0.30 x manufacturers based engine maximum RPM /Redline (eg: GMC Duramax 3000 RPM x 0.30 = 1000 RPM)
  •      Stop the engine and wait for 15 minutes.
  • Stage 3: Inject 250ml of Revive at 0.40 x manufacturers based engine maximum RPM /Redline (eg: GMC Duramax 3000 RPM x 0.40 = 1200 RPM)

Keep the engine running for a few more minutes until the Revive is worked out of the system.

Take the vehicle for a brisk drive of about 20 minutes, this allows the Revive to do its work.

IMPORTANT: The RPM's listed are ONLY EXAMPLES and are based specifically on a GMC Duramax with a Redline of 3000 RPM.  You must calculate the RPM's for the vehicle being worked on.


 

For H.D. & Industrial engines OVER 7.0 liters of displacement: 

For heavy duty & industrial turbo diesel engines that are over 7.0 liters of displacement, the process is the same as for automotive turbo diesel engines over 5.0 liters of displacement, however you inject 500ml of Revive per stage, rather than the 250ml for smaller automotive engines. Note: You will require 2 bottles (1.5 liters) of Revive to complete this treatment.

  • Stage 1: Inject 500ml of Revive at 0.45 x manufacturers based engine maximum RPM / Redline (eg: Engine 3000 RPM x 0.45 = 1350 RPM)
  • Stage 2: inject 500ml of Revive at 0.30 x manufacturers based engine maximum RPM /Redline (eg: Engine 3000 RPM x 0.30 = 1000 RPM)
  •      Stop the engine and wait for 15 minutes.
